Officially incorporated as the Town of Danville, Danville was named the safest town in California in 2020. Like much of California, Danville started as a farming community, incorporated in 1980, and now has about 45,000 in population. Its 94506 was named the 14th wealthiest zip code in America. Known for its excellent schools, it is also home to the Blackhawk Museum Eugene O’Neill National Historic Site – Tao House.
