Alamo is an unincorporated community in Contra Costa County equal distant between Walnut Creek and Danville. It has had its own post office since 1852. Alamo is an affluent community of about 15,000. Summer concert series and annual Easter Egg Hunts are held at Livorna Park. Some Nationally known people live in Alamo.
