Clayton is a community of about 12,000 citizens, and it is nestled at the base of Mt. Diablo. Clayton is known for its small town, rural atmosphere. People here are involved in the community events and are welcoming to all. They have 4th of July parades, outdoor Saturday concerts in the park during the Summer, an Art and Wine festival, and Oktoberfest in the Fall.
